Currently, the cost of attending a medical school in Nigeria has been increased due to the recent increment of school fees across federal universities in Nigeria that are under ASUU.

According to the Academic Staff Union of the Universities, this increment is to cover the lapses of the funds that the federal government has refused to remit to it Union.
